Dawson Gallery was founded in May, 1982.  We sell Old Master, l9th and early 20th century paintings and prints. Our goal is to provide collectors with a choice of paintings and prints that have a place in American and European art history.  We want buyers to know the painting’s academic context  and we want sellers to know how a work will likely do in the market place. We are certified by the American Society of Appraisers to do valuations for insurance and estates. Our business includes painting conservation and frame restoration.
